Chehalis Bridal Expo Pictures

>> January 18, 2010

Last Saturday I was at the Chehalis Bridal Expo and these are a couple pictures from the show.
The flowers were done by Perpetual Posies and then we collaberated on the table layout.

The floral arrangement has pink garden roses, cale, and green apples just to name a few. Absolutely Beautiful!

LLE {hearts} Decorated Aisles

>> August 20, 2009

When I work on weddings and when I attend them I get lots of ideas and find things that I like better than other things. One of the things I {heart} is a great aisle! Whether it has candles or flowers, as long as it pops!

Here are a few examples:

Inspire: Pink and Black

>> April 3, 2009

I never really liked the color pink growing up. It came across as very girly and growing up with 3 boys there was no room for girly! Black has always seemed very classic and chic to me and a total staple in my wardrobe.

A couple years ago I did a reception for my friend Julie. Her colors were pink, white, and black. Her arrangement was adorable down to the Good&Plenty she had me spread around on the white linens. Now pink is one of those colors that I like. Can't say I love it, but there are a lot of shades and tones of pink that if done right can look very elegant or playful.

This color board was fun to do since it isn't super girly. I like the modern look of the flowers, playfulness of the cake, and the small touches with the candy.

Also using a basic black dress with a ribbon in pink is great because your girls can wear that dress again by just taking off the ribbon. I love being able to pick versatile things for weddings. In reality it is one day out of your life and make it memorable, but also try to make items repeatable!

~ GREAT ARRANGEMENTS ~

>> March 23, 2009

I love flowers! They are so pretty and so much can be done with them. These 3 fall in my top picks for spring weddings. Each one has a great look!

For the traditional wedding:

This arrangement was done by Creative Concepts & Designs in Texas. I like the simplicity of the arrangement for a traditional wedding. Very clean cut and beautiful.

Higher end/ Fancy Wedding:

This arrangement was done by Boston Blooms. With the richer tones and a Cala Lillies this just speaks of romance and sophisication!

Backyard/Garden Weddings:

This arragement was shown on Good Housekeeping by using aromatic bells of Ireland in empty olive oil bottles. Great for outdoor weddings and weddings on a budget.
